THE MOVE : 40th Anniversary Series – remastered & expanded

Please note this page is being prepared and the bonus content is not yet live.

Thank-you for buying the new edition of LOOKING ON. We hope you enjoy the package.

As an added bonus to our 40th Anniversary Series, we have been preparing exclusive tracks that can be downloaded only from this site, and found nowhere else... well for now at least!

Sadly in this instance, at the time of release there were no further recordings or takes available for additional online bonus content, but please do sign up for any future notification should any elusive tapes be unearthed in the future. If they are related to this album, we'll prep them and notify you of their free availability. Maybe it'll be the AWOL ‘Brontosaurus’ American single edit... or if you pray hard enough... maybe the rumoured tape of Jeff’s song ‘Falling Forever’.... Hope springs eternal. How many Move fans prayed for the material on the previous albums being found & restored?

No doubt we'll saying a first time 'Hello' to some Jeff Lynne fans who have picked up this Move album as their entry into the world of the 40th Anniversary Move reissues.

The Move’s fans have been enjoying a few earlier releases, but as a little ‘Hello’ from Fly & Salvo here's a free download (below) of the special 2007 radio edit of ‘Feel Too Good’ which was included on the limited edition '40th Anniversary 'Flowers In The Rain' CD single.

All our bonus content are 192kbps DRM free mp3s.

NOTE: This facility is intended to be updated over time. We advise you to sign up to The Move Newsletter as we will be sending information to subscribers whenever new material is added to this page which will only be accessible to CD owners.

Please Support Our Suggested Charities

Should you feel the additional tracks offered here for free as bonus materials would have been worth paying for in their own right, we would strongly recommend you make a donation to one of the charities below proportional to the additional pleasure from the release and the bonus tracks. Even if Carl isn't on this particular album, his spirit remains at the very epicentre of all things Move.

JUST GIVING Carl WayneJUST GIVING Carl Wayne

Carl Wayne was a founding member of The Move as well as the group’s charismatic lead vocalist and spiritual leader across both ‘Move’ & ‘Shazam’.
Carl was instrumental in getting work started on the Move’s 40th Anniversary Series releases but fatally succumbed to cancer on the 31st August 2004 before the fruits of his effort could be completed.
Everyone involved with this reissue would like to commemorate Carl’s contribution with the tracks on offer here. This link goes direct to JUST GIVING, and 100% of any donation you make goes to The Carl Wayne Cancer Research Fund. The target is £2500, and over £1000 has already been donated.

HEART’N’SOUL

HEART n SOULHEART n SOUL

Fly Records was established by David Platz in 1970, becoming the home for recordings made with his various production companies since 1966 and including this Move album.
David died on the 20th May 1994 from Motor Neuron disease, and his son Simon Platz took over the management of Fly Records and its parent company Onward Music Ltd, under Simon’s own company Bucks Music Group Ltd.
Simon is a director of HEART’N’SOUL, a dynamic arts organisation offering creative opportunities to people with learning disabilities. They use music in an innovative way to make practical initiatives work in enriching the creativity of those who are usually sidelined by the mainstream music arena.

RECOMMENDED DONATION : you will be making a direct donation and we do not take an administration or any other charges. We normally recommend you donate a minimum of £1 per download, but as JustGiving's mininum donations are £2, if you think the CD was a steal at the price you paid for it, we hope you'll be generous!
